Bangladesh provides 22 scholarships annually to Nepali students in government medical and dental colleges under the SAARC quota. Likewise, a significant number of Nepali students also pursue their higher education in private medical universities and colleges.

At present, there are close to 2,700 Nepali students pursuing higher studies in Bangladesh, including in medical, dental, agricultural, engineering, and humanities disciplines.
