Bangladesh and Nepal maintain several bilateral consultation mechanisms to regularly assess progress and explore new avenues of cooperation. These mechanisms include:
• Foreign Office Consultations (FOC)
• Joint Economic Commission (JEC)
• Commerce Secretary Level Meeting (CSLM)
• Joint Steering Committee (JSC) and Joint Working Group (JWG) on Power
• Joint Group of Customs
Apart from these formal bilateral mechanisms, various educational, cultural, business, and research organizations from both countries actively engage with their counterparts to foster institutional cooperation.
